Christmas markets in Eastern Europe? Food and drink tips which you cannot miss!

During winters, I always love to visit Christmas markets. This winter I´ve been in Bratislava, Prague and Krakow.  Considering price and taste, this is what you need to try in each city!

Drinks in Bratislava

In Bratislava you can visit two different squares where the Christmas markets are situated. One is the Main Square and other one is Hviezdoslav Square. There you can find drinks from one euro and they are really tasty. From fruity wines, punch to turbo punch or grog. Slovak people are true experts when it comes to alcoholic beverages. I visited many Christmas markets but nowhere with as many options of alcohol.

Food in Prague

In Prague there are lots of squares where you can find Christmas markets but you definitely need to go to Staroměstské náměstí. They serve the best food ever and there are plenty options to choose from. But I’d definitely recommend the potatoes with cabbage and bacon or traditional Czech sausages. You won´t regret it.

Desserts in Krakow

One of the best desserts which I have ever eaten was at the Christmas markets in Poland. It was called the bubble waffle and it’s beyond awesomeness. They do different types of those waffles but we tried the one with nutella and other one with kinder bueno. So, they put nutella, whipped cream and bananas in the waffle with a chocolate topping, or if you choose the other one there is chocolate, whipped cream and kinder bueno. Well, it felt like I was in heaven and you just cannot pass it by when you are there. Trust me.
